2016 - 2018 WTF Creative

The HBO US Marketing team approached WTF Creative to aid them in the digital advertising of some of their headline television series. I was selected to work on the projects having previously showed capabilities with digital advertising. The most recent of these briefs was a set of user-interface take-overs for the popular dark drama: Big Little Lies. The takeovers where scheduled to go live before much of the second season had been revealed so I entered the project with limited assets. I pitched several concepts including the idea of secrets submerged beneath water and cracking faces to symbolise the crumbling facades of the leading ladies using a combination of stock imagery, BTS Stills and Season 1 head-shots.

In 2018 I partnered with Amazon.com to create a set of "Easter Eggs" for HBO's blockbuster title: Westworld. The teaser videos could be activated by entering keywords into the search bar of the Amazon store in a bid to spread word of mouth via social networks for the shows season 2 debut. I created a set of 11 glitch videos, each revolving around a key character in the series plot with subtle narrative sneak peaks included. The videos were created in After Effects and later rendered with Alpha Channels to be embedded into the Amazon interface.

Beyond this I have worked with the TV giant to produce digital assets for Amazon tablet "wake screens" and traditional rich media such as online banners and iMDB desktop wraps.
